Februar (Renewables Now) – EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (ETR:EBK) has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (ECA) for the performance of an 85 MW solar farm in northeastern Germany, built by project developer Energiekontor AG (ETR:EKT). « The commercialization of electricity from renewable sources is EnBW`s core business, with its exceptional energy trading skills and large customer base. Part of our business strategy is to continuously expand our product range and broaden the trading horizon. These include the conclusion of long-term electricity contracts in Germany and other European markets. That is why we are very pleased to play a pioneering role together with our partner Energiekontor in the commercialization of electricity produced from large solar installations in Germany.
